Banh Mi Boys first opened its doors to Toronto in 2011. Working out of a small mom-and-pop shop at Queen Street West and Spadina Avenue, three brothers armed with history and knowledge of Vietnamese cuisine began offering savoury hot meats in perfectly-toasted baguettes. It wasn’t long before word-of-mouth got around and what had initially started as a slow-moving venture led to bustling and eager line-up’s out the door.

It was only a matter of time before our stores could no longer individually handle the increase in demand. With the brothers’ history of working and managing large-scale food production, we built and equipped our own commissary kitchen – allowing us to continue to develop our food in-house with the same integral and high-quality standards you’re used to.
